我仅是你挚爱的房间

非爱人她本身

真爱是永恒的财产

非容纳它的金库

真正爱人是唯一无二

I am only the house of your beloved,

not the beloved herself:

true love is for the treasure,

not for the coffer that contains it.

The real beloved is that one who is unique,

who is your beginning and your end.

When you find that one,

you’ll no longer expect anything else:

that is both the manifest and the mystery.

That one is the lord of states of feeling,

dependent on none;

month and year are slaves to that moon.

When he bids the state,

it does His bidding;

when that one wills, bodies become spirit.

鲁米是笔名(全名叫穆拉纳 .贾拉伦丁. 穆罕默德 .巴尔赫，1207-1273) ，13世纪的巨大波斯墨客，故里阿富汗巴尔赫（论族别是塔吉克族）。在波斯文学史上，鲁米享有极高的荣誉，中世纪八大波斯墨客之一。鲁米被连合国评为属于整小我私家类的最巨大的人文主义者、哲学家和墨客。鲁米的诗歌涉及到人类永恒稳固的主题：爱情、生命、殒命等。
