to not tell someone all the details about something, because it is unpleasant or boring
简单来说，就是听够了，不想听了，老套的话，反复的内容，听的让人都厌烦了…
例句：
Spare me whatever steaming pot you're about to serve up.
省省你的花言巧语吧。
So spare me your defenses and your explanations.
所以，请不要为自己辩护和解释。
当然，spare me也可以单独拿出来用，
比如：
